Northern Arizona VA Health Care System
Veterans Day Parade 2016
This year's Theme was Women Veterans, Past, Present and Future! NAVAHCS had three entries in the parade. The Domiciliary Veterans coordinated by Recreation Therapy, the NAVAHCS Employees coordinated by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and the Women Veterans coordinated by the Women’s Veterans Program Manager, Susan Johnson-Molina.
Thank you to everyone who participated, assisted and watched this year's parade. The City of Prescott did a wonderful job planning, organizing and executing this year’s event and it could not have been done without our Community Partners.
The City of Prescott Veterans Day Parade has been a tradition for several years and many people drive from all over the state to attend this incredible event. Each year the number of entries increases and the number of spectators grows.
Honoring our Veterans is what Veterans Day is all about and in “Everybody’s Home Town” it is not only expected but welcomed. Prescott is a Veteran Community that always comes together to recognize the outstanding men and women of the Armed Forces for their service.
NAVAHCS is happy to serve those who served and is grateful for all of the community support that is available. Thank you to all of our Veterans for their service and for allowing us to care for them at our medical center.
