Kinesiotherapy

Kinesiotherapy staff at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System (NAVAHCS) strive to maximize strength, coordination and range of motion in our patients so their level of function and independence is increased.  Kinesiotherapy (KT), the study of human movement, designs exercise programs that are put into practice in order to accommodate the rehabilitative needs of patients who have physical disorders, including injuries and diseases. Our staff work with both inpatient and outpatient populations, helping patients through exercise, conditioning and education. Our goal is to help medically stable patients improve endurance, strength, flexibility and mobility.
