Prosthetics and Sensory Aids Service
Northern Arizona VA Health Care System (NAVAHCS) Prosthetics and Sensory Aids Service is responsible for providing medically prescribed equipment, supplies, devices and Prosthetic and Orthotic services for home use for eligible Veterans. Our Service also provides Home Oxygen therapy and administers the HISA (Home Improvement and Structural Alterations), Clothing Allowance and Automobile Adaptive Equipment programs. In addition, our Service provides a monthly Amputee and Brace Clinic to support our Veterans in need of artificial limbs and complex braces. Striving to Exceed Veterans’ Expectations Above and Beyond Physical Limitations," recognizes the exceptional customer service provided by PSAS staff in the procurement and provision of various equipment and services provided to Veterans daily to support their highest level of function and independence. More than 55 percent of Veterans treated across VHA in fiscal year 2019 received more than 21 million prosthetic devices, items and services.
