Respite Care Program
The Respite Care Program provides the time for caregivers of Veterans to have a rest, take a vacation, or receive medical attention. The Veteran needing care can enjoy a change of scenery, a change of routine and an opportunity to socialize with staff and other Veterans. This program will provide temporary care to Veterans who are in need of assistance with activities of daily living. This service is provided on a short-term basis not to exceed 30 days in a calendar year. The Community Living Center (CLC) Admission Screening Board must review and approve all Respite Care referrals.
